Kalpana Chauhan is a fellow member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) and a Maths graduate with an overall experience of 20 years in the field of Corporate Law Services and Advisory.
Her key area of expertise includes advising Corporates from various sectors on Company Law matters, Corporate restructuring, Due diligence, ESOPs, PE investment, Legal matters, India entry services and Foreign Exchange Control regulations.
At the beginning of her career, she worked with eminent Practicing Company Secretaries in Pune, later she moved to Bangalore and worked with a Multinational Hedge fund administrator from the US where she handled Compliance, Legal, Secretarial function along with Information Security Certifications related Compliance and audit support along with providing legal operational support for the Private Equity Investments made by hedge funds. During her early post qualification days, she did a brief stint in a Management College in Pune as a Lecturer for students pursuing their MBA.
In the year 2011, She started full-time consultancy and practice as a Company Secretary gained vast exposure by handling complex projects and assignments of all types for multiple clients in various sectors.
Shweta Jain is an Associate Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India since 2012. She is bachelor’s in commerce and has overall experience of more than 7 years in Secretarial Practices and Corporate Law Compliances.
She is a technical and liaising expert and handles all the procedural and technical aspects of Compliances. At KCA, she regularly handles and executes with finesse projects relating to Annual Secretarial Compliances, Private placement of shares, Secretarial Audit, Incorporation of Companies and LLP, FEMA and FDI matters. Her expertise ensures smooth execution and timely compliance.
